Fashion Goes Festive

This year fashion designers are are feeling the Christmas spirit and have taken to expressing their excitement in different festive forms. The first is a selection of limited edition Christmas stockings for Selfridges. The designers involved include Karl Lagerfeld, Henry Holland, Moschino, Martin Margiela and Barbour with stockings being available to purchase both in store and online. As you can imagine, prices vary depending how huge the designer is - yes, I'm afraid that means for most of us we won't be getting one designed by the hands of Chanel.

Karl Lagerfeld £200
Henry Holland £75
Moschino Cheap & Chic £235
Martin Margiela £860
Barbour £30

And following in last years snowy footsteps, online giant net-a-porter.com has collaborated with a sack full of designers to create a range of festive jumpers. Here are a selection of the designs available at the e-retailer...

Preen £595
Richard Nicoll £350
Meadham Kirchhoff £945
Stella McCartney £695
Moschino £396
3.1 Phillip Lim £416
Emma Cook £185
Marc Jacobs £580
Markus Lupfer £225

Also this Christmas, British design duo Meadham Kirchhoff have given London's taxi's a festive makeover in collaboration with online e-retailer farfetch.com. The new design will be seen all over London from tomorrow which coincides with Cyber Monday - the online equivalent of Black Friday which see's stores dropping its prices to mark the start of Christmas shopping. It is thought to be the biggest online shopping date of the year.
